Our Story
Meet Kim, the founder of Still Haus. Still Haus was born out of a season of stillness—it was in this wilderness season that silence became my only companion. It was a place of transition, where the road ahead was hidden, and the only certainty was God’s voice. In that quiet, He anchored me with a truth I had long known but had never fully lived: “Be still, and know that I am God” -Psalm 46:10. Those words became more than a scripture—they became the architecture of my surrender, the blueprint from which this vision would rise. Still Haus is the fruit of that stillness, a reminder that sometimes God builds the most enduring foundations in seasons of pain and where nothing feels certain. My love for interior design started as a little girl where I found myself constantly rearranging furniture, styling my room, and noticing how colors, textures, and light shaped how a room felt and the way interiors could shape how a person felt inside their home. What I didn’t realize then was that this wasn’t just a fascination with design, but a calling to create spaces that healed, nurtured, and restored. I’ve dreamed of creating spaces that feel beautiful, cozy, and restful—curating retreats that bring people back to stillness, peace, rest and inviting God into that atmosphere.
Alongside design, Still Haus was also birthed through fire….quite literally. I was frustrated trying to find candles that burned clean and actually filled a room with fragrance. That frustration became the very nudge God used to push me into creating my own. And as I poured, tested, and refined each candle, God began to reveal parables in the process. The patience required in waiting for a cure. The wisdom found in testing again and again. The fire that melts and transforms before beauty is revealed. Just like us, these vessels are shaped, refined through the flame, and in the end become something beautiful and purposeful. We are, after all, earthen vessels—molded by His hands and filled with light. “But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us.” 2 Corinthians 4:7
Still Haus is not simply a brand of curated home goods, fragrances, or design. It is atmosphere. It is a return to quiet in a world that feels endlessly loud. It is fragrance and form working together to create sanctuaries where peace dwells and God’s presence feels near. Every candle, every curated home fragrance, every design choice carries intention—to restore beauty, peace, cultivate stillness, and to remind us that home is not just where we live, it is where we are formed. Today, Still Haus is the realization of lifelong passion—merging design and faith, beauty and spirit.
